Hand Therapy
Evaluation and treatment of the hand and upper extremity to include the wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder girdle. Customized treatment includes splinting, manual therapy, scar management, and therapeutic exercises to facilitate functional recovery related to trauma, surgery, degenerative joint disease, and repetitive stress injuries. At Focus Physical Therapy, Inc., therapeutic interventions are performed by a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentialed by the Hand Therapy Certification Committee.
Vertigo/Vestibular + Balance Rehab
Vestibular rehab is an exercise-based program, designed by a Physical Therapist to improve balance and reduce problems related to dizziness (Vertigo/BPPV). Patients are evaluated for specific symptoms (vertigo/balance) and assisted through maneuvers and activities to reduce symptoms/falls and return to normal activities.
Aquatic Therapy
Physical Therapy in a pool setting designed to reduce joint compression pain, improve weight-bearing/walking tolerance, build strength/flexibility and return to normal daily activities.
Private PT Evaluation/Treatment
The service offers an individualized evaluation and treatment with a Physical Therapist for fitness goals, strength and conditioning instruction, sports performance enhancement, injury prevention, returning to activities after an injury or illness and specifically private pay for clients.
