At Focus, your care is in the hands of experienced therapists who bring not just skill, but heart. Each member of our team offers a distinct background and a shared dedication to helping you heal.

Scott Crawley. PT, Owner
Scott founded Focus Physical Therapy in 2005 in Jacksonville’s Riverside area.
He earned his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Florida in 1993 and spent a decade at St. Vincent’s Hospital, eventually managing its Rehab/Sports Medicine Department. After two years with Brooks Rehabilitation as a regional manager, he opened Focus. In 2020, Focus expanded with a second location in Southpoint.
Scott volunteers with the Jacksonville Men’s Rugby team and the Jacksonville Axemen, providing rehab support both on and off the field. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, staying active, and enjoying the outdoors.

Andrew Bowser, PT
Andrew is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2021 after obtaining his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida.
Born and raised in north Florida, he spent over a year working as a travel PT in Washington DC, California, and Washington State. He enjoys impacting people's lives through his work and in his spare time can be found running, cooking, traveling, and rooting for the Florida Gators.

Chris Dunning, DPT
Christopher Dunning graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2019 with his Bachelors in Sports and Exercise Science. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2023
from the University of North Florida here in Jacksonville, Florida.
Professionally, he is passionate about orthopedics, return to sports/work activities, and manual therapy. In his free time, he enjoys playing games with his friends, watching sports and spending time with wife and family.

Elizabeth Soika, DPT, CHT
Elizabeth is a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). She graduated from the University of North Florida in 2001 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Drexel University in 2008.
Originally from Fort Lauderdale, she has practiced in multiple states while relocating with her husband during his Army service. They now call Jacksonville their forever home.
Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, son, two energetic dogs, and a three-legged cat. She also loves yoga, running, and traveling, and is proud to be part of the Focus Physical Therapy team.

Matt Ching, DPT
Matt is a licensed Physical Therapist who graduated from West Coast University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018.
He completed his Comprehensive Manual Therapy (CMT) certification in 2025.
Matt enjoys educating patients about their diagnoses and teaching them how to recover and heal effectively through personalized care and movement strategies. In his free time, he likes to garden, play piano, golfing, and spend time with his daughter.

John Brink, PTA, Supervisor
John is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who earned a B.S. in Political Science from the University of North Florida and an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assisting from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, John enjoys helping patients improve their balance, regain independence, and prevent falls.
He also has a strong interest in supporting patients as they return to sports and pain-free activities. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, surfing, mountain biking, and fishing.

Rashaun Smith, PTA
RaShaun is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 2015, and Florida State College at Jacksonville as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2019.
Rashaun fulfilled clinical internships with St. Vincents, Southeast Orthopedics Specialists and Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute. Since joining Focus Physical Therapy, Rashaun oversees the Aquatic Therapy Program at The Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Pool through individualized rehabilitation programs to treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
He's passionate about sports and is currently focused on Plyometrics and Return to Sports Considerations. Through volunteer interests he plans to focus in orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports medicine. In his free time he enjoys playing sports, fishing, bowling, billiards as well as spending time with his family and friends.
